LIFE CHANGES is a story packed with drama, centered at a man wrestling with major life choices, and in that struggle, finding that God has an amazing, fruitful life for him if he would not lean on his own fleshy thinking, but instead, listen to God’s Spirit, Word, and wise counsel. The beauty of the book is to see how God never gives up on this man, even though he would seem to make the same mistakes over and over. The grace and love of God was displayed throughout the book, along with the discipline of a loving God, experienced through bad repercussions of wrong choices. There are many spiritual life lessons in this story, and it is a good read because it has a lot of relational drama, Ups and downs, and ins and outs, and I really didn’t know how this story would really play out until the very end. Yes, at times it was somewhat of roller-coaster ride, along with near-death experiences and true miracles of intervention. I like this book because it can speak to people about what can work and not work in life, and as difficult as life can sometimes get, there is a way back to a loving Father who wants us to have a truly abundant life of real purpose. I recommend this book for families and individuals who are needing direction in life, and any who may have a family member struggling with any type of addictive behavior.

After reading "Life's Changes", all I can say is, "Praise the Lord! God is alive and on His Throne!" That is certainly evident in every page of this book! I am so thankful that I have had the privilege of knowing the authors of Life's Changes for many years and can personally verify most every story on which the book is based. I either received firsthand information at the time it happened or I actually witnessed it in person. As unbelievable as each story may sound, believe it. As coincidental as it may seem, it isn't. Nothing happens in God's universe by coincidence or accident. As crazy but wonderful as it may sound, it is! This book is for those who have "ears to hear and eyes to see" that God never sleeps or slumbers and is always working in our lives. In "Life's Changes", Kermit and Maria have the courage, obedience and love for others that it takes to share these truly miraculous works of God. I have felt the transformation in my own life through the grace of God that is revealed in this book. I believe that your life will be changed too and that you will want to pass "Life's Changes" along to those you love, just as Kermit and Maria have. I can hardly wait to read their next book!

Dec 16, 2019 I have never read a story like this one. My hairs stood on end at times, and I became so much a part of the story, I felt I was living it. I knew this is a true story so, I actually asked to meet some of the characters just to see of all this really happened. I found, yes, this story is really a true and soul changing, life changing story I would tell everyone about. If everyone would just start and finish the first chapter, you will not want to put it down. It tells how Steven, the unsavable, lost brother, was never that lost after all. I felt Steven's downfalls, his pierced heart, his disillusionments; then I felt his life waking up to a new, free dimension, changing his spirit life. He knew his life was worth living after all. And Steven knew all this was good and it came to be with the help of no other than his Heavenly Father!!

Beaver Jr., writes without reserve about his life before and after knowing Jesus as Savior; his depressing life without Jesus; then his experience in life finding Jesus and begging Him not to let him go.
